New PC 01/31/2012
 
I recently got a new PC thanks to my father. It works great, flows excellent, and I'm also now using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Here are some specs:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K CPU @3.30 GHz 3.60 GHz
- RAM: 4 GB
- GFX Card: AMD Radeon HD 6670
- Intel Solid State Drive
- ThermalTake Liquid Cooler

With these new specs I'll be experimenting a bunch with UDK, perhaps make some scenes (purely for portfolio showcase) and / or maps for Unreal Tournament 3, etc. Stay tuned!

You probably have heard of the SOPA / PIPA bill, designed to "stop piracy" and "protect copyright holders". The truth is that this bill will censor massive amounts of information on the Internet, including my site, popular sites like YouTube, Facebook, etc. and for the Q3A community, sites like ..::LvL, etc. These bills are putting the future of the web at stake. Tell your local senators or representatives to oppose this bill at once! We must not let this unconstitutional act take off.

FiDestiny, a Quake Live player with a large amount of QL gameplay videos available on his YouTube profile, created and uploaded an offline botplay video of the QL version of Dynasty. Thanks Fi!

Please note that all the opponents in here are bots - they are not real players. The map is not available for online play on Quake Live. If you want to play Dynasty online in Quake III, please check #uscpmpickup or oranje's server. (Hopefully I can get it up on FragLove soon, but the admins there have been occupied with things)

P.S. I love how I can see where people are finding my site with Weebly Pro. One person found this site through a site selling sports jerseys for 2012, another found it through a site selling luxury handbags, purses, and other designer items. Makes you wonder... lol :p

After a few months of gathering dust in ..::LvL's map queue, a review of Tactical Assault has now been put on display on the site. It has been reviewed by DGhost, so much thanks to him for deciding to pick it up!

I just upgraded to Weebly Pro today. With this I plan on making several changes to the site, perhaps to make it more professional looking. I'll be keeping the Weebly thing at the bottom though, since it is a great blog and website service and I recommend it to anyone wanting to create their own website / blog.

So what is planned? I'm looking into a rotating header which changes per refresh, categorization images, and of course, a favicon. :)

My father is not feeling well and I am led to believe that he may have had a stroke. He is feeling rather weak and although he claims to just be coming down with the flu, I feel it may be more than just that. Although he has had conditions for a while, it seems things are heading for the worst here, to the point that I felt the need to post this.

Please send your thoughts, wishes, and prayers here. The family is feeling quite depressed right now, myself included. A lot of things have being going to crap lately but it seems the stops are being pulled out. Thank you for your support if you do decide to drop by a comment.

As with some of my other maps, I made the source .map file for Dynasty available to the general public. Download link is located inside it's respective page.

As usual, feel free to do what you'd like with it, just be sure to credit me and share it with the same license. (non-commercial, attribution, share-alike) As a suggestion, I think a CTF spinoff could be neat. :)

November 11, 2011. It`s simultaneously Veteran`s Day (we appreciate all your hard work), the release of the hotly anticipated Skyrim game, and the day where a horde of "obscure" conspiracy theorists gather in secret meetings about an apocalypse that should have happened at 11:11. Guess what, we`re still here! Save this all for 2012 dudes...

Anyways, my map Domain of Red Snakes is coming along quite nicely, in beta 2 now. Well, actually that name is outdated. In future versions of this map, I`ll be renaming the map to Dynasty due to some suggestions regarding the suitability of the name with the actual map. The map is also now available as Map of the Week on #uscpmpickup for testing. If you`re interested in giving it a go online, add up for MOTW at the channel. (cmd line: add! motw) Thanks to the guys over there for choosing it.

Once the Release Candidate is available I`ll be putting up it`s own page with images as with my previous maps.
