Stellar Polaris
"The "Verz" have spread across the entire Duel Terminal world, which is about to end due to their influence. Those who remain pray to the legend of the "Messiahs" passed down by the elders of each tribe. Are these "Sacred", self proclaimed knights or the heralds of the stars?"
- Duel Terminal Storyline
This is my first public artwork since the old Doom drawing that I took down due to lack of quality. This is meant to be the true leader of the Sacred Star Knights, as opposed to Stellar Ptolmeys Messier 7. Named after the most famous star, Polaris, this galactic general is of high rank (pun partially intended) and wields a lightsaber-like artifact that cuts even the universe's toughest materials like butter. The vibrant aura of this warrior is said to be practically unmistakable.
Because he's based off Polaris, I gave him some trademark characteristics which people can identify with an open mind. His shoulder and knee plates have a compass rose design on them, which refers to the usage of Polaris as a navigational guide by early sailors before the invention or widespread usage of compasses. The three golden spikes protruding from his helmet also represent the north, west, and eastern directions of the compass rose. His wings are synthetic and are formed from high-energy plasma fields, held together by metallic alloys; sufficient enough to allow for smooth aerial transportation.
