Another lineart - this is Azusa Nakano from K-ON! in more vibrant garb. I used the thinnest line size provided by SAI so that it's more easily adjustable later on - not too mention less cartoony.
I finally got Stellar Polaris done. Check it out in the Artwork section in 2012 --> "Stellar Polaris".
I found this neat program called Paint Tool SAI, which I hear is very popular amongst anime / manga style artists due to it's ease of use and authentic results. I gave it a try and wow! I've been looking for a good tool to make clean linearts, and this is just what I needed. The entire image is not finished yet obviously, and as you can see Polaris appears to be holding nothing - that is because it is supposed to be a lightsaber-like object, and it might be more convenient to use effects for that later than build it out of line art and have it cross over things. I may even put up the original hand-drawn picture if people are interested. Anyways, enjoy!
I've had a lot of inspiration lately, and as you may have noticed in the artwork section I took down my old crappy Doom drawing, as I'm going to be putting up some fresh stuff of (hopefully) higher quality. So stick around!
