Added a new section for artwork. Check out the first creation I posted, "Ride to Survive". Feel free to drop by comments through this blog post.
My old map "Maximus Overdrive" (pasctf3) just got a review over at ..::LvL by TheMuffinMan. I`m quite excited about this, as it is my first map to be reviewed. There`s three screenshots, a panorama, and even a video to make your decision on "to download or not to download" a bit easier.
Thanks to TheMuffinMan for the review, and ..::LvL for creating a great site to keep all us Q3 fans updated with fresh content. Also thanks to everyone who helped test the map and make those much-needed improvements. PlanetQuake should also be putting up the new maps for display on their Q3 news page as well sometime soon, which will give it even more publicity. Check out the review here: http://lvlworld.com/#c=mSearch&i=2135&d=20 Jan 2011&m=All&p=review My blog has been recieving more publicity as I now have the link embedded in my signature on Quake Live. If you are visiting and have the time, please feel free to throw me some suggestions on making my blog more pleasing, aesthetically or layout-wise. Throw me a comment through the "Comments" button below the title.
Also, a Features section has been added, with an article talking about decreasing compile times - a Some of you may have saw the first beta of my recently released map, "Training Day". Many of you have commented on both the positive and the negative aspects of the map. Now, I am in the process of re-texturing almost the entire map, as well as making several major structural changes taken from your suggestions. I would like to thank TheMuffinMan, Kaziganthe, and Anthem for their constructive advice, and when I send this map in to SyncError I hope he sees it fit for becoming a Quake Live map.
Wish me luck! :-). |
